Our policy
AmberMeet respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects the same of the third-party services linked from this site. We respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA") and to notices submitted under the European Union Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, "DSA"). Content that is determined to be infringing will be removed or disabled promptly.
How to submit a copyright notice (DMCA)
If you believe that material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notification to our designated contact below. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (the exact page URL on this site).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
EU notices (DSA)
If you are in the European Union, you may instead submit a notice under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act using the same contact below. Please include: an explanation of why you consider the content illegal, the exact URL of the content, your name and email address (unless the notice concerns an offence involving sexual abuse or exploitation), and a statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information in the notice is accurate and complete. We will confirm receipt, process notices without undue delay, and inform you of our decision.
Counter-notification
If material you posted or provided was removed as a result of a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same contact containing: your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at that address.
Repeat infringers
We terminate cooperation with content sources or partners that are subject to repeated, substantiated infringement notices.
Misrepresentation
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
